The Origin
Vintlux team share a passion for Industrial British 20th century design, especially in lighting. The company was started with the intention of creating iconic industrial lampshades, inspired by the original design from the 1930s. These iconic designs had widely been used because the shades are durable and practical as well as atmospheric. Vintlux respects the quality workmanship of products produced in this period, when things were built to last. The amount of energy, materials and manual hours invested were unimportant; items were of high quality, well made and would last a lifetime and beyond. Vintlux products are now produced with the same enthusiasm but with modern respect for both the environment and the workforce.

A Durable Impression
Next to impressive designs we prioritize sustainability and durability at Vintlux. Our complementary light bulb collection therefore only consists of durable LED lights. Authentic light bulbs inspired by the design of the first traditional light bulbs from the 19th century, in a modern sustainable design. Because of our iterative process of innovating we make sure we can always assure our products are durable and timeless.

In the 20th century the design and styling of the shades were new, exciting and in many ways revolutionary. Still, products were made to be timeless and durable. Vintlux searches for ways to expand their collection inspired by designs from history with the same train of thought. In this revolutionary thought Vintlux has expanded to selling authentic, wooden furniture in the Netherlands. Inspired by the Mid Century Modern movement. The collection consists of unique handmade pieces that will last a lifetime.
